This is a relatively new twist on silicone pastry mats - the silicone materiel is perforated, which allows heat to more easily reach the bottom of whatever you are cooking.
This option is great for anything that is not so liquid that it would drip through the tiny holes in the mat; cookies, tarts, pastries all turn out great, without soggy pale bottoms!
